  • Beacon Fell Country Park

    Beacon Fell features 110 hectares of stunning woodland, grassland and moorland. Various trails lead you around the Park and, upon reaching the summit, you’ll be met with panoramic views of the Bowland Fell and Parlick Fell. What better way to work up an appetite.

  • Hazelhurst Fell, Fair Snape Fell & Parlick

    The Forest of Bowland offers many opportunities for walking and this circuit of the high ground at the western end of the area provides many excellent views, some moorland walking and the interesting hamlet of Bleasdale with its fine church.

  • The Horns Dam

    Coarse fishing in a peaceful and picturesque countryside setting. While away the hours with the choice of three beautiful, well-stocked fishing lakes containing carp, roach, rudd and others. The caravan park, with onsite facilities, allows for touring pitches and seasonal pitches.

  • Longridge Heritage Trails

    Two circular heritage walks around the thriving small town of Longridge on the edge of the Forest of Bowland. Trail one focuses on quarrying and textiles and is 2.4km in length, trail two is centred around religion and commerce and is 3.2km.

  • Little Town Dairy, Farm Shop & So Plants

    Little Town Dairy is a family-run dairy manufacturer located in the grounds of a farmstead in the Ribble Valley. While away a few hours at the Little Town Farm Shop and Tea Room and So Plants Boutique Garden Centre which make for a great local attraction.

  • Woodfold Fisheries

    A mixed coarse fishery comprising six individual and unique waters covering an area of six acres of water and lying within over 10 acres of banks and woodland.

  • Bowland Forest Gliding Club

    Glide amongst the clouds and take in the beautiful Bowland Forest countryside. Whether you want to learn to fly, or just want an unforgettable aerial experience, the Club offers a wonderful base for flights over the stunning local scenery.

  • Brock Bottom

    Located on the very western edge of the Forest of Bowland is Brock Bottom, a beautiful picnic site and nature trail along the river.

  • Blackpool, Lytham, Clitheroe, Longridge, Garstang

    Whether it’s to sample Lancashire’s rich culture and heritage or to take to our coast and hills for some much-needed fresh air, the towns of Blackpool, Lytham, Clitheroe, Longridge and Garstang are just a short journey away.
